What: The Ara Gallery brings back the nation’s culture, heritage, and traditions through art in the second edition of “UAE | A Work of Art” . The showcased group of artists use their creativity to give you a taste of what being an Emirati is. The artists are: Alia Al Malik, Alanood Obaidly, Hamad Al Falasi, Maitha Al Marri, Shamsa Al Abbar, Shamsa Bin Dasmal, Thuraiya Ismail and Wafa Al Qassimi.

What: Being the first show if its kind in Kuwait, Beirut II will be featuring mainly video, photographic works dealing with issues of freedom, self-realization, and social equalities under the aggravated conditions of permanent conflict, as well as sound installations. Participating artists: Maher Abi Samra, Danielle Arbid, Ali Cherri, Edwin Daou, Rami El-Sabbagh, Joana Hadjithomas & Khalil Joreige, Lamia Joreige, Mazen Kerbaj, Randa Mirza, Reine Mitri, Bariaa Mourad, Najla Said, Sharif Sehnaoui, Rania Stephan, Alfred Tarazi, Tanya Traboulsi, Raed Yassin.

What: The second artistic exhibition by renowned photojournalist, Ammar Abd Rabbo titled (Follow the Leader) Featuring a rare collection of photographs of Arab and international leaders taken at various moments of their life and portrays the humanity of current and gone world leaders.
When: June 18 until July 12, 2012.
Where: Ayyam Gallery, DIFC, Dubai.
What: Solo exhibition by Iranian and leading artist Reza Doust, which he describes as “For many years I have been taking my bits and pieces of photos, sketches and sugar cubes with me to where ever I travel. These pictures have been the basis and space for my works.”
